Chinese 5 Spice
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Sichuan peppercorns
- 5 - 6 star anise
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 Tablespoon ground Chinese cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon ground fennel seeds
Directions
In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the Sichuan peppercorns and star anise until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Grind into a fine powder. Add to an airtight container along with the remaining spices and mix thoroughly.
